Once upon a time

Tetiba dalam mood tangkap syahdu sebab tinggal beberapa hari aje nak hantar Sarah ke asrama. Mula la belek2 gambar lama....huwaa....dah start sedey nih..... jangan banjir Taman Tun hari Isnin ni sudahlah ye! Time flies...my 1st born dah besar! Daripada anak sorang, tambah dua dan jadi tiga.... Cepatnya masa berlalu!...ok, enjoy some pics yang lama2 of my kids.

Satu pagi di Taman Tasik Perdana

Actually pergi masa cuti sekolah. Abah datang dengan Cik Idah sambil bawa 2 orang anak saudara saya, Danish dan Batrisyia. Abah datang sebab nak berjumpa Dr Zhu di Acuputomy Centre yang saya pergi dulu. So, kesian kat kids yang tak pergi mana2, saya bawaklah ke Taman Tasik Perdana. It was a short trip by abah, anyway, so tiadalah tempat-tempat lain lagi menarik yang boleh saya bawa mereka-mereka ini. Actually, having a great time need not be expensive. Dekat Taman Tasik Perdana pun boleh seronok juga. 2 trip kami naik train (er, train ke shuttle? apa2 lah ye... sila rujuk gambar :-p) Bayarannya 20 sen untuk kanak-kanak dan 50 sen untuk dewasa. Saya rasa telah dicaj lebih, tapi takpelah.... Seperti biasa, bila ada aktiviti berjalan aje, Nurin akan komplen penat.... huh....sabar jelah.... tu la sebab awak bulat ye....(umpama pot calling the kettle black? hehehe) Here are some of the pics....

FA Wagen Glenmarie

Went to FA Wagen Glenmarie for replacement of the arm rest It kept on sliding so hubby asked Lydia, one of the service dept staff to get it checked. Appointment was made on Wednesday 20th June 8.30 am so I went earlier that morning. Registered awal tapi start pukul 9 jugak. Takpelah.... asalkan siap cepat!

Hijrah vs Masehi

Tak sure kita perasan ataupun tidak....actually some yang lahir tahun 1973 akan celebrate their 40th birthday ikut kalender Islam....take ur pick....choose to be 39 ikut kalendar Masehi @ choose to be 40th ikut kalendar Islam..... :-) Fyi, I'll be celebrating my 40th birthday on 9th Sya'aban.....alhamdulillah.... Hoping for another great year and closer to our Maker.... InsyaAllah.....

Countdown to IQKL

Last week I got a call from IQKL. A very good news which confirmed that Sarah is accepted into IQKL. Alhamdulillah. I was driving when I got the call. Thinking that it may be bad news, I told the lady to wait as I park my car by the roadside. Thought I needed the strength to listen to the bad news. The lady had to repeat what she said to me as I was dumbfounded!!! Seriously I didn't think she'd make it! Ya Allah, I'm just thankful that You answered our prayers! Thank you papa, atuk, umi, ayah, ustaz Fahd and all who prayed for Sarah. Again, jazakallah khairan kathira from the bottom of our heart! Some would say, private bolehla! Bear in mind, no matter how much money we have, if Allah doesn't permit it, Sarah won't be able to enter IQKL. If not, why do I need to go from 1 school to another? Takpelah, tak kisah. I've never cared what people say anyway! What matters most is Allah knows my intention and why I'm doing it. I can only pray that whatever path I choose will eventually lead us to Jannah. I've done a lot of things which I'm not proud of and I'm still trying my best not to steer away and go astray. May our family have a place in Jannah, insyaAllah! Let us pray that with Allah's mercy, all of us together with our loved ones will enter Jannah, insyaAllah!

My quest....

Since February I've been browsing the net trying to find a suitable school for Sarah. SMK USJ 12 is one of the good schools in USJ, no doubt about that but secular schools definitely lack the balanced and holistic approach that Islamic schools have. Unfortunately, during my quest to find an Islamic school for Sarah, I have come to realise that without PSRA, it's pretty difficult for her to enter any Islamic Schools, even private ones. I went as far as Rembau to send Sarah's application- Yayasan As-Sofa's Sekolah Tinggi Islam. I also checked out the ones in Johor and Kelantan. Why Johor? My family is there. Kelantan? Hubby's relatives are there. If she has to go to Kelantan or Johor, it'll be less worrying.It's coming to the end of May and still I can't find a a school for Sarah. It's a tiring journey but I believe Allah has plans in store for us.

 "Boleh jadi kamu membenci sesuatu, padahal ia amat baik bagimu, dan boleh jadi (pula) kamu menyukai sesuatu, padahal ia amat buruk bagimu; Allah mengetahui, sedangkan kamu tidak mengetahui.” (Al-Baqarah: 216)

 Translation: "...But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not."

Then two weeks before June called ajak gi IQKL. She wants to send her son there. I called IQKL before this, siap tinggal phone number asking them to please call me if ada spot kosong? Tp memang takde kosong. Since June nak gi IQKL, I tagged along. We met the Ustazah who happens to be the Vice Principal at IQKL. June managed to get an interview for her son. On the other hand, I asked whether there's any spots for Sarah. She said no more spots for girls as the girls' dorm is only 1 floor as compared to the boys who occupy two floors of IQKL building. Sebelum balik, Ustazah bg name card dia. Dalam kereta, June cakap, jangan putus asa. Try aje call dan buat rayuan lagi sebab ada anak kawan June yang baru masuk. Itupun selepas ibunya bersusah payah ke IQKL. Balik rumah, I called the ustazah. Apa pun, last Friday, I finally secured an interview session for Sarah at IQKL in pinggir Tmn Tun. Yippie. Feedback oleh ustazah ok cuma Sarah perlu improve bab tajwid dan kelancaran dia. So, Sarah needs to go for the 2nd interview on 9th June. Semoga Allah permudahkan! Hoping anyone who reads this piece to pray for Sarah, ok? Jazakallahu Khairan Kathira...

Cameron Highlands Trip

Trip to Cameron Highland dah lama berlalu cuma tak sempat nak update gambar2 aje!

Whoa! Lamanya tak update blog! Dekat sebulan.....? Anyway, esok ada kelas kat ICCA frm 10.30-3.30. Harap2 I can last that long and this time it'll be fun with Lilot n k Lin around! Will update pics tmoro! Oh, lupa pulak kelas ni the fee is just RM390. It's the old syllabus. New syllabus would cost around 600-750 i think. Call ICCA for further info! Nite2 for now!


Day 1

Today papa yang hantar. So, dengan happynya masuk ke kelas walaupun barang penuh di tangan sebab tak perlu berjalan jauh....K Lin dan Lilot pun sampai around 10.30. Pagi sebelum keluar, I did the ironing dulu so by the time sampai ICCA 1/4 tenaga dah abis....huhu.... 1st day happy2 penuh gelak ketawa sambil menguli fondant lebih sekilo....wah2...keluar semua urat2 dan otot2.. Tapi takpe, seronok belajar... Enjoy some of the pics....

Day 2
Kurang bergelak ketawa.....hahaha.....penat semalamnya tak hilang lagi....pastu hari ni pulak banyak buat aksesori tambahan dan bunga2an untuk decorate the dummy cake. So kurang masa untuk bergelak ketawa sebab masing2 serius dan tekun bekerja.... Lunch at Homst. Seperti biasa, Homst la yang dituju bila ada kelas di ICCA. Akhirnya siap semua decoration....kelas diakhiri dengan majlis penyampaian sijil.
