Penang Trip Day 1 (with pics)

Departed from home around 7.30am. Traffic to Guthrie Corridor was ok. Smooth sailing all the way to Plus Hiway. Pit stop at RnR Tg Malim. Saw a few bikers....nice!!!! The scenery along the highway is really cool! There's a lot of things to see....mmm.....maybe I got so used to the KL-JB hiway route that the view no longer interests me....  :-p

We went for lunch at Line Clear Nasi Kandar. They've been in biz since 1930. They're open 24 hrs..... Hubby jokingly said that the pots and pans used haven't been washed since 1930, that's why the food is nice...(ya la open 24 hrs... Bila basuh pots and pans?) 

Anyway, reached Hydro Hotel around 2pm. Booked online thru latestay so check-in was a breeze! Requested for connecting rooms, somehow we didn't get it. Takpe....more privacy for us....huhu..... Hotel is big and not too bad. It's kinda old but comfy. Hydro was formerly known as Feringghi Beach Hotel. We got the hillview.... plus the condos and double storey  houses as part of the view......hehe...

We're going to rest for now.... Later we're heading to the Toy Museum... Zzzz 

Mmmmmm tak tidur pun. Dalam pukul 5, kami bertolak ke Toy Museum depan Hotel Capthorne.Tiket untuk dewasa RM 10 dan RM 6 untuk kanak-kanak. Ok la.... Menarik jugak....banyak toys yang menarik perhatian.... Lepas tu, kami pun pergi makan di Food Court tak jauh dari Toy Museum. Kuay teow dia sedapppp..... Halal ye...bukan kat kedai Cina! :-)

3rd Better Baking Class

Hari ni macam ok je....tak rushing...sempat breakfast dgn hubby n kids lagi! Sampai KD, 2 kali pusing takde parking, so parking la kat Sunway Giza. Jauh sikit jalan....exercise sket.... semakin membulat asyik makan kek aje!!! Hari ni, my partner, Nawar ada interview, so I helped her with the cakes. Kami buat Carrot Cake and Pumpkin Cake hari ni. Nasib baik tak payah nak grate carrots...phew....I baked for 2- for me n Nawar. Cewah, macam expert jek! Kelam kabut sket but I managed n surprisingly, I wasn't the last to put the cakes into the oven! :-) Yang tak bestnya, balik tu hujan. Luckily Julia shared her umbrella with me. Siap bagi bawak balik lagi! Thanks Julia! I'll definitely bring it next week. Ok, here are pics of today's cakes.

Johor Premium Outlet (pit stop otw home)

We reached JPO around 11. Kereta dah banyak siap ada buses buat rombongan Cik Kiah lagi. Punya la slow nak masuk parking.... aiyo.... patutnya banyakkan entrance. Kalau tak silap ada 2 aje entrance/exit. So entrance wasn't a nice experience coz long queue considering that we're still early. Ada Burberry, Levi's, Gap, Padini Store, Brooks Brother (tak bukak lagi), Samsonite, Coach (my favourite...hehe), Salvatore Ferragamo, dan banyak lagi la.... Kedai yang orang queue nak masuk -Coach (long queue) dan Burberry. The experience- ok tapi ramai sangat orang. Nak makan pun takde tempat. Left around 1 pm. Hubby said he'll come again with proper planning (and lotsa $$ ?? :-p).
